MeasureFirst is operated at ai.themeasurefirstapp.com. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information when you access or use our platform. By creating an account or using our services, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your data transparently and responsibly, in compliance with applicable privacy regulations including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), and Google's API Services User Data Policy.

We collect the following categories of information to provide and improve our services:

Account Information

• Name — to identify you within the platform.
• Email address — to authenticate your account, send notifications, and provide support.
• Password (when using direct email sign-up) — stored in hashed form using industry-standard encryption.

OAuth Authentication Data (Google & Yahoo Sign-In)

When you choose to sign in using Google Sign-In or Yahoo Sign-In, we request only the minimum data necessary to authenticate your account:

• Name — provided by your Google or Yahoo profile.
• Email address — provided by your Google or Yahoo account.

We do not request access to your Google Drive, Gmail, contacts, calendar, or any other Google or Yahoo services. We do not store your OAuth tokens beyond the session required to complete authentication.

Usage and Platform Data

• Property addresses entered for estimation and measurement analysis.
• Project data, measurements, and reports generated within the platform.
• Feature usage patterns and interaction logs used to improve platform performance.
• Device type, browser, operating system, and IP address (collected automatically for security and analytics).

Payment Information

Billing and payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe. MeasureFirst does not store, process, or have access to your full credit card number or sensitive payment credentials. We receive only a Stripe customer token and subscription status.

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

• Authentication & Account Management — to create and maintain your account, verify your identity, and enable secure access to the platform.
• Service Delivery — to generate property measurements, construction estimates, and AI-assisted analysis reports.
• Payment Processing — to manage your subscription plan and billing through Stripe.
• Platform Improvement — to analyze usage patterns, diagnose technical issues, and enhance features and performance.
• Communications — to send transactional emails (account confirmation, password reset, invoices) and, where you have opted in, product updates and announcements.
• Legal Compliance — to comply with applicable laws, respond to lawful requests, and enforce our Terms of Service.
• Security — to detect, prevent, and respond to fraud, abuse, and security threats.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party for marketing or advertising purposes.

Google Sign-In (OAuth 2.0)

MeasureFirst uses Google Sign-In as an optional authentication method. When you authenticate via Google, we receive only your name and email address from your Google account. This data is used exclusively to:

• Create and identify your MeasureFirst account.
• Pre-fill your display name and contact email within the platform.

Google Maps & Street View API

MeasureFirst uses Google Maps Platform services (including Maps JavaScript API and Street View) to display property locations and enable satellite and street-level imagery for construction estimation purposes. Address data you enter is transmitted to Google Maps solely to render property views within the platform.

Google Gemini AI

MeasureFirst uses the Google Gemini AI API to provide intelligent construction analysis, measurement interpretation, and estimation suggestions. Property data processed through this feature is subject to Google's Gemini API Terms of Service.

What We Do Not Do with Google Data

• We do not share your Google account data (name or email) with any third party.
• We do not use Google user data to serve you advertisements.
• We do not request access to any Google services beyond authentication (name and email).
• We do not store Google OAuth tokens beyond the session required to complete sign-in.
• We do not allow humans to read your Google user data unless required by law or with your explicit consent for troubleshooting purposes.

MeasureFirst offers Yahoo Sign-In as an optional authentication method using Yahoo's OAuth 2.0 service. When you sign in with Yahoo, we receive only your name and email address from your Yahoo account.

This data is used solely to:

• Create and identify your MeasureFirst account.
• Pre-fill your display name and contact email within the platform.

What We Do Not Do with Yahoo Data

• We do not share your Yahoo account data (name or email) with any third party.
• We do not access your Yahoo Mail, Yahoo Finance, contacts, or any other Yahoo services.
• We do not use your Yahoo account data for advertising or marketing purposes.
• We do not store Yahoo OAuth tokens beyond the session required to complete sign-in.

Your use of Yahoo Sign-In is also subject to Yahoo's Privacy Policy.

Your data is stored on secure cloud infrastructure with industry-standard safeguards. We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

Security Measures

Google & Yahoo Sign-In

We use Google Sign-In and Yahoo Sign-In as optional OAuth authentication providers. Data received from these services is limited to name and email address as described in Sections 4 and 5.
